Yet Battlefield 6 is striving to shift that dynamic.

Building On Past Shortcomings

The game arrives after the release of the advanced Battlefield 2042, published four years ago to a poor reception it found it hard to overcome.

"We probably couldn't create and produce the latest entry absent the learnings we acquired in the previous title," she shares with us.

One of those lessons was to involve the community participating from the start, and the studio initiated exclusive community trials in recent months.

This "response was extremely favorable," says Rebecka.

A further absent element from Battlefield 2042 was a single-player campaign, which has been restored for this release.

In spite of reports that the scope of the game had put a strain on the different developers collaborating globally to build the title, Fas is optimistic about the work.

Young Developer Brings New Insight
